We are a small organisation which uses the knowledge of Ghanaians to improve the situation in the country. We want to support their efforts to improve education and health standards.
We support education and health projects in Ghana.
We support education projects in the rural Volta region. We cooperate with the Nkonyaman Foundation that has been there for over ten years. To improve the education standards we offer capacity building for teachers, speech-and-prize-giving ceremonies and scholarships.
Our aim is provide access to health insurance to as many families and children as possible. We also provide financial support in medical emergencies.
Thanks to donations from Germany and additional funds from Ghana, we were able to register a total of 7,369 children for health insurance and extend the insurance coverage of 7,960 children and young people. This means that our registrations between June and December 2024 have reached a record number of 15,329 children.
In February 2024, we sadly had to say goodbye to our long-standing partner Ingrid Fordjor. We participated in her funeral with a eulogy and words of thanks for her many years of commitment. As her designated successor Samuel Fordjor is seriously ill, the educational projects in Wurupong are currently on hold until we have found a good solution.
